iOS 10 and Bluetooth Headphone and Simplicity

1- Swipe down from top
2- Turn On Bluetooth (Automatically connects bluetooth headphone)
3- Open Music app

I can connect my Bluetooth headphone with one single touch.

iOS 10.2.1
1- Swipe up CC
2- Turn On Bluetooth (Nothing happens)
3- Go to the Settings
4- Go to the Bluetooth
5- Touch Headphone's name under the Devices section (Finally iOS connects to my Headphone)
6- Press the Home button for Music app
7- Open Music App

Or

1- Go to the Settings
2- Go to the Bluetooth
3- Turn On Bluetooth
4- Touch Headphone's name under the Devices section (Finally iOS connects to my Headphone)
5- Press the Home button for Music app

You seem to be confusing pairing with connecting. Once paired a BT device will automatically connect when it is cut on. You can also connect/disconnect by swiping up. Also why do you wast time cutting BT on/off?

The only exception is BT devices that can pair to multiple devices. In this case it will only auto connect to the primary device (first device paired).

0) Bluetooth on my iOS devices is left default. If your wireless headphones pair automatically to your android device, there is no reason the same doesn't happen for iOS.

1) Open airpods case. Take out airpods and put them in ear. Airpods connect to iOS device automatically. Else, swipe up control centre, and select airpods from audio settings.

All devices paired before and there is no another paired device. First paired device is iOS not Android.

Scenario 1:
Android 7.1.1 (Bluetooth is On)
iOS 10.2.1 (Bluetooth is Off)

Android device connects automatically to my Bluetooth Headphone.

Scenario 2:
Android 7.1.1 (Bluetooth is Off)
iOS 10.2.1 (Bluetooth is On)

iOS device doesnt connect automatically to my Bluetooth Headphone. iOS searching other devices. iOS doesnt detect that the paired device is ready for connection. But in the same scenario Android finds paired device and connects immediatly.

Also its not about waste of time cutting Bluetooth on/off. Im doing this for power saving and for a better world. Another reason is Bluetooth connection heats (not too much but it heats) my iOS device. Im doing this for protect my iOS device. If im done with Bluetooth than i turning it off.

In this case Android makes me happy and Android helps me to save our planet. Android fast and simple for Bluetooth Headphone connection. But iOS? Doesnt makes me happy. iOS wastes my time.

Yes! There is a reason: its called simplicity.

Everyone can not be forced to use AirPods. We must have an options. In this case im talking about this options.

If it doesnt have Apple logo than it must not work frame of simplicity in Apple's iOS?

This is just Bluetooth Headphone. Android doing his job with simple way. iOS choosing hard way for what?

Q: What i want?
A: Just do it Android's way automatically connect when iOS device's Bluetooth on or Add automatically connect option checkbox (device by device and maybe Bluetooth settings must have device sorting option) in the Bluetooth settings

Turn on Bluetooth on the iPhone. Power up the PowerBeats headphones, they connect automatically.

If the same headphones are paired to two different devices - it may be what is causing your problem with connecting to your headphones. I have no such problems with iOS (harman headphones and some cheap bluetooth sound bar in bathroom), but none of them are paired with two or more devices. Sometimes you may need to change device that is handling audio output (bring up control center, swipe for music control screen, choose device from the list).

2) BT is about 100x less energy/carbon footprint/heat/wear & tear than WiFI and about 1000x less than LTE. Also the manufacture of a single cell phone will have carbon footprint several 1,000,000 times that of the phone's lifetime use of BT. And you seem to have at least 2 cell phones. So sell your iPhone since you are not happy and keep your Android until it stops working. Then buy a used one. You will have ACTUALLY helped 'for a better world' MANY millions times more and can still use BT.

Also you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Use wired headphones and no paring problems and you can EXTRA help 'for a better world' since the manufacture of the BT radio in the BT headphones results in a much high carbon footprint than wired.

I deleted paired device on both OS. Paired only with iOS again. This problem still happening. iOS cant reconnect automatically to my Bluetooth headphone when I turn off and then on iOS device's Bluetooth again. iOS cant find looking others. But Bluetooth Headphone's name stays in the Devices section. When i touch this name iOS immediatly connects Bluetooth Headphone.

Two things. First, I just tried this – and it's not my experience at all. If my headphones are turned on and I turn on Bluetooth, it connects, no problem.

That said, it's not my typical approach. I have Bluetooth on all the time (I have an Apple Watch) so I typically just turn on my headphones, and then it connects. I have used several different pairs of Bluetooth headphones paired with multiple devices and all behave the same.

In fact, the auto-conenct is often a problem: it will sometimes take over the audio, even if another device is paired and listening. (For example, if my wife is using her headset to watch a movie on the iPad, and I turn on my headphones, it will auto-connect to mine.)

It sounds like there is something else going on with your setup.

You are clearly doing something wrong.
First of all turning of BT to save battery life is useless because BT 4.2 is Bluetooth LE (Google if you don't understand it)
Second all my BT headphone reconnects when I turn them on. Takes different long time depending och model.

But with AirPods it does it instantly because of the W1 chip.

I'm just curious, were the headphones connected to the Android device when you tried to connect it to your iOS device? That may be why it's not connecting to your iOS device.
