Hey,

Anyone else also find that your (iPhone 6 for me) is now getting and staying hot when charging ever since 10 beta 3? It wasn't like this in previous versions.
If I have my phone charging overnight, in morning the phone is warm/hotish each time.
And it also gets quite hot when using the phone for short periods outside in the sun - for some strange reason.

Something is off with beta 3 with this issue.

no same as usual here. make sure ur using proper apple chargers no crap knock offs & if ur using ipad charger its going to get warmer, higher amperage dont come for free..

It's all genuine and all the same equipment as before. Just beta 3 is only difference and it's now keeping the phone hot when charging - even when fully charged hours before but still plugged in.
And it runs hot during other normal usage times too.

make sure photos isnt trying to create the photo memories thing, if it is force quite it reopen, it should finish then

Thanks. Checked asked not the issue as I force close all apps before charging for last few nights as a test - no change. and have rebooted the phone.
Maybe next beta will be better.

Hmm, not noticed it getting hot for me. I reckon it could be something to do with location services running in the background. Try going to Privacy > Location Services > System Services and reviewing which apps have theirs set to "always".

I had exactly the same problem but force quitting all apps solved it for me. Not sure which app was getting stuck.

Yes OP!

noticed this the last two nights. V warm in morning, well after it must have fully charged.

My 6s+ gets burning hot while charging. Wasn't like this with the last version either. Literally gets hot seconds after plugging in and cools down when it gets up to around 85-90%.

My iphone 6 with iOS 10 Beat 3 was getting very hot while charging too...i was using an ipad charger...yesterday i changed to an iphone charger and it did not get hot...not sure if it has anything to do with it but my phone is not getting hot anymore.

Good to know I'm not the only one and it does seem like a problem introduced in beta 3.
Hopefully it is sorted in the next version.
