Got an idea?

You can use pages and numbers to edit those files on iOS and save them back into docx / xls files which is what I do. Pages and Numbers seem to work fine on iOS10.

I am pretty impressed with iOS10 - only issue I have is with the ear buds not working - sporadically.

Depends on the issues. If it's down to OS then most likely yes it will get fixed but if it's down to the app developers then it may take a bit time depending on the company and their priorities.

So far the few apps I had that had issues have been fixed already through updates that also apply to iOS 9.

I expect when devs are allowed to properly target iOS 10 then things will be solved quickly.

My problem is not Microsoft office app cannot editing documents, but cannot linking app to my enterprise office 365 account. This means I am not able to save files directly to cloud, but local only, or personal Microsoft account.

I use cloud storage a lot so this is a game breaker for me.

My guess would be that Microsoft will fix this fairly quickly? Soon there will be a lot of users switching to iOS 10

Who knows. It should be the case, but then again various Office apps still didn't work right/well in OS X when El Capitan was released even though it was all known during the beta phase.

Microsoft will only fix it if issue is actually related to iOS 9 part rather than iOS 10, and looks like, this is not the case.
Anyway, I just need to use computer a bit more than usual in order to check my documents.

Why would Microsoft fix it only for iOS 9 and not 10?

Apple currently does not allow developers to use iOS 10 API to develop and submit apps to App Store. Therefore if issue is related to changes in iOS 10, Microsoft cannot do anything to fix it.
After September, Microsoft can release fixes for iOS 10 because iOS 10 is publicly available.

Office apps working fine for me on iOS10PB2 - logged in to my office 365 enterprise account.
Mine always tell me "there is a problem with your account".
Which plan are you using?

Yes of course. I meant they'll only release a fix when they can submit apps for iOS 10.

Devs can only build against iOS 10 APIs when 10 is released, BUT devs CAN fix bugs related to iOS 10 while it's in beta.

For example, FB messenger had messed up layout in 10 beta but they have fixed it. Same with some issues in Evernote. And it was those apps updates that solved it, not a newer iOS beta.
