Am I the only one that notices that there are two distinct design languages across iOS 10? One of them is newer, bubbly, with way more transluscency and bold fonts. The older is based on finer, thinner lines and clashes greatly with this new design.
The worst part is that even the new design language sometimes work and sometimes it doesn't. Maps and Home are great applications of this new design. Apple Music is ludicrous now, though. Maybe not from a functionality standpoint, but how I miss the cover of albums blending elegantly with the rest of the app. What the hell went wrong with the iPhone Music app? The iPad one works well, but I SO miss the former design... to the point that I actually consider going to Spotify (which, ironically, adopted former Apple Music's tabbed design).
The older Apple Music felt like an exciting trip to the Music Store. Now it feels stale and boring, at best.

yes. i think there are at least 2. maybe several.
while i think that iOS 9 stabilized much of the design language, i look forward to iOS 10's new look. bolder. even more modern.
apple it seems is not able or willing to think that it needs to have a consistent feel across all its apps.

Consistent feel is something I cannot find for those jailbreak themes. They looks cool but third party icons ruin them easily.
For general iOS 10, I guess we can see more of bubbles and round corners in iOS 10.2 or iOS 10.3.
BTW, seems that iOS 9 refines the design language starting from iOS 7. Could I assume what iOS 10 shows us is what Apple think "a radical design change"?

I think it is ok for them to change the design language. The problem is doing it half-bakedly and thinking it is ok. And don't come and say "it's a beta" because we know the apps won't change until the final build.
How odd would it be if iOS 7 mixed some apps with the new design while others kept the iOS 1-6 feel and guidelines? I know that would be a much greater and starker contrast, but you still see my point...
