Why does every notification sounds the same like text messages tone. Viber doesnt sound like viber, whatsapp too and messenger aswell. They all sound the same

I've had this happen only on WhatsApp and FB Messenger. WhatsApp seems to have it's sh--.. stuff together after a reboot and app update, but Messenger is still acting a fool playing the tri-tone message -sound.

Hopefully either a) further reeducation, or b) a software update will clear this up.

Yeah I think the WhatsApp update on the 27th seems to have fixed it on that app but fb messenger still gets the bug

This happens to me as well after a while. Specifically FB Messenger will all of a sudden default to the tri tone without making any changes to the sound settings.

I had this with FB Messenger, a simply turning the phone off & on again fixed it for me.

Only problem is, after the phone hasn't been rebooted for a while, i find the problem returns.

Hopefully this is fixed in next update
