I swore not to update my mini 2 past iOS 9, as it made it slower than iOS 8 for no real benefit. I get typing lag and scrolling stutter which really annoyed me!

I read that iOS 10 makes scrolling smoother.

Any iPad mini 2 users have experience with ios10 yet?

I can only rely on 2nd hand info (because I don't have one) but my friend said hers is the same or a touch faster. She did describe it as "smoother".

The experience isn't great for me on mini 3, although to be fair my point of comparison is the Air 2 which runs iOS 10 like a champ.

The scrolling seems to be better than 9, and overall I think it feels a bit snappier. This is likely due to the quicker animations. There is still a bit of typing lag from time to time though, which really gets on my nerves.

I guess I would say that it's not been an amazing experience, but it seems to be a tad bit better than iOS 9. If you were still on 8 I would tell you to hold off though.
