Heya,

How are you finding the battery life on iOS 10 public beta 6? Better or worse than previous betas? Better than iOS 9?

I'm on a 6s at the moment and am finding the battery life to be much better than iOS 9, from which I have just upgraded.

Getting about 7 hours usage browsing the intenet, videos and light google maps usage and 11 hours stand by!

On my 6s battery life for all the iOS 10 betas has been horrific. I think somewhere around beta 4 it got slightly better but I still find myself tethering to a battery pack by the evening and plugging it in constantly while driving.

Actually just updated to public beta 6 yesterday on my 6s Plus and battery life is much worse than I had on public beta 5. Public beta 5 I would be around 80-85% at this time of night (work night shift) and now I'm at 63%. Same usage as always. Music in my car, music here. Some texts and some light web browsing. Hoping to see some improvement after a discharge of the current battery charge.

Better than iOS 9. Not much different from previous betas.

Mine on my iPhone 6 is really good since PB4, if I remember correctly. And since it's still pretty good and way better than iOS 9. Some screenshots here.

I've been using the betas this entire time but recently the battery life was extremely bad. I'm talking a percent a minute in stand by. Finally gave up and downgraded today. I'm hoping it's just iOS and not my phone (6s).

On a brand new iPhone 6S (Apple warranty replacement after 11 month - it was constantly switching off at 20% at early giving me over 6 hours usage and 3 hours standby), it's fantastic.

I'm a heavy user and got around 20 hours standby and 8 hours usage before it hit 1% today. That's the 3rd day on new hardware and after 2 full charging cycles (indexing and iPhotos complete).
[doublepost=1471919008][/doublepost]Anyone getting bad battery, I'd highly recommend getting Apple to give you a new one. I do this on most new iPhones after 11 months.

5.5 hours usage
12.5 hours standby
48% left
iPhone 6s+

Facebook is the biggest battery user, sitting at 59% (1.8 hrs on screen, 31 min background)

iOS 10 seems to be the same as iOS 9 in regards to battery life. I'm impressed.

Can you guys check and see what's killing the battery? With mine it was the App Store but I figured out how to manually close it and now I'm good.

I have had all the public betas on my iPhone 6s and battery power started out at awful and has progressed to just bad.

You have to manually close the App Store, open the App Store, hold the power button, when it asks if you want to turn the phone off then release the power button, and then hold the home button until the phone closes the App Store.

Two days ago my phone would get hot/battery life was crap. I'd check to see what's eating up the battery and it kept saying the App Store was running at 47%. I did everything from soft reset - setting up my iPhone as new, setting up my phone as new would work for about 1-3 days then it would be back to low power mode. Now, App Store is at 2% and my battery last all day.
