When plugging in a charging cable with iOS 9, the phone recognized it and gave me the "buzz buzz" and started charging IMMEDIATELY. On iOS 10 this is not the case. It takes a second or two. Almost to the point where I think "Did it not recognize the cable?" And then it does give me the "buzz buzz" and start charging. This should be IMMEDIATE no? Anyone else seeing this???

iOS 10 takes longer to recognize charging cable?

Might be evaluating if the cable is wet before letting charge flow - based on the new wet port warnings.
Same thing here with my Air 2 and 6s. Slightly annoying. I do plug it in and think, wait did it not fully connect? Then by time I reach for it, it starts charging.
I suspect it's most likely what the post by skwood mentioned. It's likely doing the new "Is there moisture or water in the lightning port? Nope. Ok charge now"
Don't you know? Everything and anything that is changed or different to what the person wants iOS to be is a problem. If it's not how they want it, it's a bug.
