iOS 10 vs iOS X

Do you guys think that Apple will use the X instead of 10? They have done this with their other main platforms... Mac OS X, Final Cut X, Logic X.

It should also be noted that they have never moved beyond "X" once they hit it, they seem to stick with it. So I wonder if 2016 will be iOS X (10.0) and 2017 will be iOS X (10.2)... It will be interesting to see if Apple uses iOS X or breaks with tradition and calls it iOS 10.

Maybe they will even start to name the OS... iOS X Mercury. ;-)

No idea, but I'd guess they'll just stick with iOS 10. Simple and easy and stops any iOSeX type comments.

Don't know, but I think that if they used X that iOS X Redwood would be a good name.

I think its gonna be iOS [Insert name here] and macOS [Insert name here]. I believe they'll just numbers all together on iOS and macOS this year.

I would love an iOS Mammoth. I just think it sounds cool.
