Good Morning, I have the 7 plus with 11.01 with no issues but my wife has the 8 plus also with 11.0.1 and her messaging app sucks, constantly freezing, tries to senda pic and it doesnt show up, cant send messages etc, closing out of the app fixes it for a sec athen right back to acting up? Anyone else? fix?

my most obvious suggestion, since you didnt mention you did it and since not everyone in the world knows, would be trying a hard reset first. hold the power and volume down button until it turns off/restarts

Sorry I did try that then realized it changed for the 8/plus, you have to tap volume up then volume down then hold down the side button to do a hard reset, did that and still no go.

oh good to know! I dont tap the volume up button so it always turns my ringer down before it resets lol. Sorry about your wife's phone.. wish I could help

Nobody else is having this issue? Since I updated my 7 Plus Im now getting the same problems as my wifes 8 plus, closing out of app the hard reset fixes it for a sec then right back to the way it was.

I would try two things first, sign out of iMessage on her phone, reboot and sign back in.

If there is no change, do the same steps but instead, sign out of iCloud by tapping on her profile at the top of Settings, then scroll down till you see sign out. This will also sign out of a few other places like the App Store. Reboot her phone again, then have her sign back in.

I’ve found that this can fix a ton of issues.
