iPhone X here. I just updated to iOS 11.1.2 and noticed that upon booting my screen brightness lowered to 0% gradually within seconds. I like to keep my phone at 50% brightness so I always toggle auto-brightness on and then off and do a restart. This does not work anymore and my screen stays dim unless I manually change it. Also, I noticed the Apple disappears for a few seconds upon booting up.

Anyone else have any issues?

The screen flash on boot up is normal on all versions up to 11.1.2, 11.2 fixes it. Your screen brightness, I’m not sure what’s up
11.2 changes that? Interesting... and there goes my theory that it was on purpose to stop an Apple logo burning into the OLED in case of a crash/hang on boot-up. :p

Everythingapplepro says after 11.2 beta 3 the screen doesn’t flash anymore on boot up. He’s usually pretty credible on tech stuff
