iOS 11.1 Stutters?

my 3 months old iPhone 7 Plus 128gb seem to have startet stuttering lately after updating to iOS 11.1 it stutters here and there for example when loading the keyboard. Do some
of you guys experience it aswell?

I see it at times in my 6s and 9.7 ipp

I will add at times 11.1 does seem smoother but it does stutter from time to time. Seems like memory management issue.

It seems to be delayed inputs or something. And Snapchat and YouTube is pretty bad and laggy. It overall lags and feels bad. There was no problem before iOS 11.1 but before the battery life was a disaster...

Ios 11.1 is much better than ios 11.0 but it is not as smooth as 10.3.3 and its really far from that. I have an iphone 8+ and see a lot of stutters here and there... we have to wait for updates...really disapointed with ios 11

Its horrible, lagging when typing, lagging when i get notifications. Pretty bad to be this bad on year old model...

Thats true, but to be honest with you ios 11 is one of the worst public releases in my opinion. I never had so many issues before and I was always updating iphone/ipad to the new ios straight away...

11.1 is smoother for me than 11.0.3, but the delay when hitting the home button to minimize an app presented with 11.0.1 still persists. I can’t believe that hasn’t been addressed yet in the last couple of updates. (iPhone 7)

iOS 8 was worse. I have PTSD from that.

How did you install it ? OTA or via iTunes ?

Also, did you restore from backup, set up as new, or ( if you updated OTA ) continued to use it as is ?

I'd suggest a ' reset all settings ' and see how that works.

I'm updating from 10.3.3 with MUCH reluctance right now because I need to be able to use my AW !!

Setting it up as new is a PITA but I'm still gonna have to do that... :::sigh:::

And lately the phone has starting running pretty hot, at least when watching YouTube. It hets very hot around the upper right corner where the cpu sits.

I've seen no noticeable performance differences on either my iPhone 6s/SE or my Air 2. The Air 2 probably feels faster actually, I think just because program switching is sort of better/faster (once I get used to it). Like the dock pulls up faster than the way you used to do it.

Hopefully 11.2 will address the lag and stutters. I experience the same thing. iOS 11 is awful so far. Worse than iOS 8.

What are you running it on?

I mean maybe the 1GB devices have an issue? I could understand that (though I doubt it's actually that bad) but my 2 main iOS devices are both the first generations with 2GB and they run it fantastically like always (save for some bugs I've run in to)

same with iphone 8. laggy, slow after 11.1. really bad...my wife's SE is like 3x times faster than my 8. : /

Now that's wacky! Driver issue maybe? I mean the SE is crazy powerful, but the 8's even more so...

I tried something. After 11.0 i've updated to phone to 11.1. via wifi. I did several restores - via wifi, but no change at all. Finally i've tried a restore via cable / itunes. And it did it! All is ok, smooth, no laggs. Do not update via wifi.

UPDATE: have been fixed with iOS 11.1.1
