Want to get feedback from people that were having issues with iOS 11.x and upgraded to iOS 11.2. Is the performance/responsiveness better and how does the battery life compare?

I'm upgrading my iPad Air to see how it goes and depending on that will upgrade my iPhone 6 from 11.1.2. Been unhappy with the responsiveness and battery life on both devices, especially the iPhone, even after deleting the devices and install as new from backup data.

Hopefully this may be helpful for others to see if 11.2 is helpful vs upgrading for no benefit.

Not interested in 10.3 comparisons, as people on 11.x are probably stuck.

For my iPhone 7, iOS 11.2 has been better than every previous iOS 11 iteration in every regard.

Updated my iPad Air and also my iPhone 6 to iOS 11.2.
So far it is much more responsive and don't notices any of the transition jitters or sluggish performance.
The devices feels much more usable again, thank goodness.

Also the slow camera app response when opening seems to be gone as well now with 11.2.

These are older devices and they seem to work well again, finally. Probably won't upgrade either to 12 in the future, but at least it all works well again from a performance point of view.

Too soon to comment on battery.

It's as fast as 11.1.2 which was already very quick ( opening everything instantly )

Battery life is about the same.

So, not much difference on my SE
