It appears that 11.3 has implemented a "confirmation prompt" when I want to swipe left on a text conversation to delete it? Two steps now, just like in Photos on the iMac.

Is there any way to disable this annoyance so I can delete a text convo like I used to ??
(swipe left, tap delete, and done).

Thanks

I noticed this as well
At first I thought... wait, what?
Not a fan of this confirmation, but it isn't exactly a huge deal to me
I suppose there are some that have deleted a precious text thread by accident, but I've never understood hanging on to them

They most likely did this in preparation for iCloud messages coming later as then it deletes your message on all your devices. You can get around the prompt by tapping Edit at the top, then selecting the message(s) and tapping delete at the bottom. I realize that this is more steps but will save time if deleting multiple threads.
