Not sure if is it just me. Does anyone else experience faster battery drain with new 11.3 update?

I haven’t experienced any change with my SE.

But, sorry for asking, how many times have you actually had to charge it since the release on Thursday?
Might be worthwhile waiting a bit longer to be sure there is actually a change.

I am experiencing it now on my 6s plus a full charge is not lasting the day on light use but it dose feel quicker But I can see a 11.3.1 update very soon as there never has been a new ios with good battery out of the box with anew new update

I charged it about 4 times already. It seems like there is more stuff going on in background than in previous versions.

I've noticed this too on my iPhone 6, I hope it's just the first few days needed to adjust the system

I also notice that battery usage times have changed (increased) since iOS 11.2. I believe the new battery monitoring software that's still a beta that was installed with iOS 11.3 is at fault. I guess we'll have to wait for the next update to see if Apple has corrected it.

Same here, too much battery drain on 6 month old battery, iPhone 5s. But Speed and stability is improve.

Yes on a iPhone 6s Plus.

Barely get 5 to 6 hours usage.

Ditto I am the same I was hoping it was just the indexing problem but it seems to be just the same I barely get 6 hours out it on light use but I am dreading work tomorrow as I will be using it heavily so will update when I find out how long it takes to eat the battery on heavy use

Battery usage on iOS 11.3 on my iPhone SE after a couple of cycles. Seems ok to me. Would have got more as I was using the GPS chip for an hour or so.

Going back to previous iOS version to see if it makes any difference.

I will note that I did a hard restart this morning and battery seems back on track!

Google can help! Type in the model of phone you have (the most recent models have slightly different methods) and “hard restart”.

Same here on iPhone 6s Plus. Had major random battery drains until 11.2.6, problem seemed to mostly go away, and now with 11.3 is back with a vengeance. Battery can drop 20% is 45 minutes for no apparent reason, then just stop. Happens almost every day. Done all the standard things to fix. New battery health indicator says battery is at 98% health.

Same here on my Iphone SE. I have gone back to ios 11.2.6.
Did Apple prevent us from going back to ios 11.2.6 today?

I do get faster drain on my iPhone SE, however, I started using an Apple Watch at exactly the same time so I personally can't say which of the two is responsible. What overheads does an AW incur generally?
