I was hoping that after the introduction of iOS 11.3, that the new Battery Health feature would improve performance on my iPhone 6 ... But it doesn't !

My battery is apparently 100% ok, but the phone performance slows down drastically the lower the battery level.

I thought Apple had fixed this but it seems to only improve performance if battery unexpectedly "Shuts Down".

According to Geekbench App tests, the lower my battery level the lower my processor performance on my iPhone 6.

I just wish i never upgraded iOS to 11 as it's ... sooooo ... slow .........

Is it worse than 11.2 to did you go from iOS 10 to 11.3?

My wife has 11.2 on her iPhone 6. It’s definitely a bit slower than iOS 10, but she uses it pretty minimally.

I've updated my iPhone 6 from 10.3.3 to iOS 11.3 and the performance is almost as good as it was on the older OS(battery at 88%)

iPhone 6 and IOS 11.3....all I can say...excellent performance.

Mmmm ... maybe i need to reinstall and refresh my iOS ... thanks for the feedback.

It's not a free replacement. It's for 29 dollars in the us and it's cheaper. It used to be 79 Dillard's. And the program is applicable worldwide and rates are at par with the us.

It costs £25. The device shouldn't be slowing down if the battery is fine.
