Do you have like a script that opens a new thread the second a beta releases ? o.o

Safari scrolling seems weird, can’t really put my finger on an apt description of the issue.

Edit: restarting the device fixed the issue.

This build has updated kernel and modem firmware

Maybe :p
What model you referring to? iP6s on 11.4 has 4.60.00 modem firmware. Thats showing the same in the spoiler. I have not installed the beta. Just hanging out unless there is a good reason to. Thinking about 12 beta 2 if tings settle down there a bit in the next one.

Anyway if I recall the kernel and modem had gone back a version from beta 6 of 11.4 to the release version. So this bring it back up? Or even newer?

  • Clash Royale bug on iPhone X only still present since iOS 11.0; set your brightness to zero. It will lag. You can make it smooth again using multiple methods; 1. start screen recording, 2. increase brightness, or 3. enable smart invert. Such an illogical iOS bug. Sometimes, making a screenshot will trigger the lag as well as getting a notification; this will sometimes either stop or start the stuttering.

Updated modem firmware for SE, Qualcomm & Intel 8-X. Kernel is updated to beginning of this month with timestamp Sun Jun 3 20:38:16 PDT 2018; root:xnu-4570.70.19~13\/RELEASE_ARM64_S8000 from Mon May 21 19:02:13 PDT 2018; root:xnu-4570.70.14~16\/RELEASE_ARM64_T8015 on beta 1

Also happening on iOS 12 beta which it may be a beta issue but have you reach out to developer it may be an app issue too

Well, I am pretty sure it is an iOS bug, I have contacted app dev too and confirmed it. I can make it buttery smooth again at zero brightness when I go to battle log, but when I swipe on that bottom line (you know, the appswitcher line), it will start lagging instantly.

I'm not going to actually try playing the game on zero brightness .. I can't see anything with it that dim. But the rest of the interface seems to be fine. Cashed in some chests, requested donations, made donations, looked at the status of our clan's battle progress, etc. Or do you only experience the lag while fighting?

You can reproduce a screenshot lag when you are not on zero brightness. Login to the game, wait for the Gamecenter welcoming to go away, go to your card collection but nowhere else (shop can either cause or fix lags), take a screenshot and immediately try to scroll, even while the animation is still ongoing. You will see a lag for a few seconds.

As for the zero brightness, at night with full darkness It is confortable for me. But you dont need to have zero brightness, but you need very low one.

Under lag I mean scrolling stutter, so mostly while scrolling thru cards, swiping, chat, etc. But some of the objects can solve stuttering such as profile, battle log, and some other.

The story started with iOS 10.0. I had a 7 Plus that time, and when they released iOS 10, Clash Royale, CoC, and some other games from other manufacturers (even Siri had it, while scrolling, I remember) started to have a weird bug where if you scrolled with your finger (I mean you didnt release your finger from the screen), it started to stutter. But as soon as your finger left the screen, it was buttery smooth again. They fixed it (Apple) in iOS 10.3, but here we go with iOS 11, for X, this special stuttering bug.

Is anyone else having issues with iBooks? If I'm listening to an audiobook and pause and come back sometime later it will frequently only open a blank white screen. Killing it and opening too quickly will also produce said screen. Gotta kill it and wait 5 second or so then it'll open normally. The issue started with 11.4. also. Sometimes issues autoconnecting to vehicle for cell Bluetooth while audio Bluetooth works

Interesting that they reverted from 11.4 GM modem firmware for Beta 1, opting for an older version, but then brought it back in Beta 2.

Some things might have been branched off for 11.4.1 prior to the final version of 11.4 so the first beta might not have some of the 11.4 final changes and only later betas would have those and other newer changes.

Unfortunately it is not fixed. It’s been present since 11.4 in my experience and 11.4.1 beta 2 is no different. Reported via feedback app. Everyone else should do the same.

Can some one please confirm if the new setting for locking out USB devices is still present in beta 2 (I’m on a longer trip and afraid of updating until a return).

I think the point was that the GM of 11.4 had a newer version than the release version of 11.4. (they went backwards for release 11.4 and b1 of 11.4.1) Now its back in 11.4.1 b2.

Didn't see that part about 11.4 GM vs final being mentioned there. (Don't recall there being a GM for it actually.)
