As usual, fast battery drain caused by lots of post-upgrade processing. The day after, my SE was back to normal.

Should I reset my iPhone SE or just wait until the post-processing completes for another day?

Do I need to reset or do another reboot or wait until the post processing is complete for another day?

No problems with either mine nor the wife's 7 plus's both which are on 11.4.

Both iPads seem to be happy with 11.4 as well.

All for devices were left on charger overnight and then used as normal the next day.

Ok, here the details of my phone and my usage.

iPhone SE. Had the previous iOS version right before updating to 11.4

Apps: Hardly any 3rd party apps installed, maybe 3 apps total from the App Store, that's it.

Usage: I am mostly running a background noise app so I can focus on my work and also sometimes to help me go to sleep. These include airplane noises, fan noises, and other ambient sounds. And it is MOSTLY running all the time. Also, I listen to some HAM radio frequencies most of the time on my scanner app.
And when I am online, I also tend to watch YouTube videos as well. So yes, maybe these are the culprit of the battery drains.

Network: Running on my home wifi network on 2.4Ghz.

Hope this info helps.

Rolling back is no option anymore since Apple decided to not sign older versions of iOS and this includes ALL iPhone models.

Good job getting the info, give it a post in the https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/11-4-se-fast-battery-drain.2120873/ since they are trying to nail whats causing the problem.

Since you are on the 2.4 (and maybe has been all the time) it might be valuable info to them.
