New Features & Changes
  • Ability to ask Siri to turn on Apple TV, play music and podcast to Apple TV
New Issues
  • In the Message app, 3D Touch an Apple News article failed to peak and preview or any related apple.news extension link elsewhere
  • Messages can be displayed out of order occasionally (#137)
Remaining Issues
  • All message threads and attachments in a message conversation is not fully restored after doing a clean install.
  • TV app
    • duplicate movies, tv shows and episodes (#177)
    • seasons out-of-order (#177)
    • wrong TV show title in multiple places (#177)
    • downloaded movies don't show up if you switch to the airplane mode (#270)
    • unable to stream some TV shows on cellular connection
    • "remove download" pop-up contents not centered vertically (#306)

Resolved Issues
  • Fixes 3D Touch delay which would not activate without waiting about 3 seconds after unlocking (Since iOS 11.3)
  • Fixes volume slider indicator within Control Center
  • Fixes a bug when asking Siri to play a specific song, it always results in the first song (alphabetically) in Music library being played and not the song requested.
  • Fixes keyboard delay in Spotlight
  • Images in iMessages can now be deleted

Can users confirm if these apply in this new build?

Remaining Issues
  • 3D Touch delay - need to wait about 3 seconds after unlocking (Since iOS 11.3)
  • App icons on the Home screen will sometimes move into the top left corner and overlap other icons right after updating. Can fix by swiping to another home page.
  • When asking Siri to play a specific song, it always results in the first song (alphabetically) in Music library being played and not the song requested.

Somebody please check battery draining issue and report it.

Siri music bug has been fixed!

Still (even after the beta 3 updates):

Some messages don’t sync.

Disabling iCloud messaging still displays, “Messages have not been fully downloaded...”

Device storage for Messages still shows zero for text, graphics, video, everything.
(Although the “Documents and Data” total shows 8.1MB)

The “Review Large Attachments” warning leads to a blank page.

(On two separate devices)

  • STILL THERE- Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • FIXED - 3D Touch Quick Actions cannot be initiated immediately after unlocking the device, takes 2 seconds waiting (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • STILL THERE - Tapping on a notification immediately after opening Notification Center does not dismiss Notification Center (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - App launch splash screen becomes black if open an app immediately after you close an app, test with 3D Touch multitasking to close app (Since iOS 11.2.5)

Can’t really figure out what this piece of code does. Let’s remove it and make things faster.
