most people probably dont even realize a glitch is a glitch or if things stutter as long as emojis work fine

Certain small things like the animation in the calculator app taking too long to clear and ignoring fast user input are always there.

As are weird graphical glitches that result from hitting the clear button too fast in the notification center.

You probably haven't run into those bugs yourself but that doesn't mean they aren't there.

And the fact is still that Apple needs a whole new major release (iOS 12) to "undo" the damage that iOS 11 has wreaked on us, so...

Craig probably polled his iOS development team, right before before their performance evaluation period.

You can bet those customers are satisfied.

I think everyone’s experiences will differ, because they may find different issues in experiencing certain intricacies during iOS 11, but my experience has generally been very good, but for the next person, it may not have been. I do think it really depends on the underlying issue and what somebody is using as a metric to determine how bad or good iOS 11 is. I For one don’t generally have any major complaints, but I realize software is not perfect either.

Yea, not for me. It's weird because I don't want to act like iOS 11 hasn't had problems, but I really haven't experienced any. I know it depends on a lot of things though.
Mine has mainly been graphic bugs on my home screen. An App will be displayed in its normal position and also over another app. My Wifi logo shows up in the wrong spot, etc. Dock doesn’t even show up at times (happened 4 times in 5 months).

Again, it's not a matter of "experience." Cettain bugs are factual and persistent in iOS 11.4, and they have not been addressed by the iOS team at all despite having a billion bug reports filed.

My experience as a dev is that the iOS team used to be far more proactive in contacting developers regarding bugs during the beta phase, and in removing said bugs in the next beta. iOS 11 is the first release ever that the team has gone "quiet" with many of the experience-breaking bugs.

I'd believe it. If you ask the general consumer, it's probably around there. Most people love their iPhones. They definitely aren't asking Macrumors Forum members which seem to just come here to hate on every little thing. Android has a higher satisfaction rate on this forum, it seems.

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard, after reading comments like these you’d think that emoji were an iOS essential

I think I use way more Emoji than my friends, and look where I’m at, on MR Forums for quite some time now

This versions of iOS is the most buggy from my personal experience. Not talking about function and features. Buggy, weird stuff happening. iOS generally get more advanced and refined? No so iOS 11.

I've read a comment here that illustrates my thoughts: Don't people think like that because they do not remember how their device ran on its original version? I'd understand if an iPhone 7 user is happy (mainly post iOS 11.2.5 I think it was when they really improved) but also, maybe an iPhone 6s user is happy - or an iPhone 6 one - because they do not remember how their devices ran in iOS 9 and 8 respectively.

Maybe. I cant remember restarting my iPhone as many times I’ve done with my iPhone X on iOS 11. By far, my worst experience. Had 3GS, every iPhone from 4S on.

iOS 11 on my SE has been... fine for me.

I think i've rebooted it twice or so

And mine is always on the latest public Beta... maybe it's the public releases that suck?

my 8 is fast on 11 but it glitches a lot , i had 5s before and i cant remember that i never had so many glitches and app crashes on ios 7,8,9

my 8 plus glitches and battery is horrible. As with my air 2. The 5S on iOS10 lasted way longer despite it having a crappier battery
Ok so iOS 11 was basically meant for iPhone X users only.

You can really see that with the use of the bold headers everywhere. Great for the X and plus, slightly annoying on the standard phones and really annoying on the SE.

No

iOS 11 bad on my X - unless X is the problems.
