Hi folks,

I could very well be missing some important steps, but all my music disappeared from my iPhone 8+

I had the 6.
Backed it up.
Bought the 8+.
Restored it from the 6 backup.
2/3rds into the 3 month Apple Music trial.
Before I could download AM tracks on my Mac and drag over to my iPhone. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Now I can't.
iPhone 8+ says I need to download the same tracks on it.
for the iPhone summary, I checkmarked 'sync only checked songs and videos'
I notice the 'manually manage videos' now doesn't have 'music' in there

Is it because I'm on Apple Music?
I HATE not being able to manually drag my music to my iPhone. I can't do it. When I drag a track over, it looks like I can add to my iPad - which is on iOS 10, but not to my iPhone.

This is driving me batty.

Either I'm missing something or the UI folks bleeped something up because it doesn't make sense to me. It's like they took a feature out? A key feature which made it easier to use.

Any help/ (kind) enlightenment might help me.

Either that or I kill the AM subscription and (hopefully) go back to how I was operating?

Cheers,
Brian
