My iphone 6+ was having lagging issues when i first updated to iOS 11 so i decided to do a clean reset and restore from a backup. I did a backup a few minutes before doing the clean reset but for some reason whenever i restore the backup it defaults to an older prior year backup and not the most current one i did minutes before, even though i keep selecting the current backup to restore to. I've never had backup restore issues and i've reset my iphone lots of times. Is this an iOS 11 bug?
PS: i've restored from icloud (once) and from itunes (4-5times) with the same results. Defaults to an older PY backup.
