Hello all!

I joined the beta program day one as I could not wait to get my hands on all the new features. In my haste I did not make an achieved backup in iTunes. I just did a iCloud backup. I now understand this was a mistake.

Anyway, I have already deleted the beta profile off of my iPhone 7 Plus. I have also 'left' the Apple Beta Program on their site. From what I understand, in order to retain my data, the only way for me to get back to standard iOS 11 and off of the beta is to now wait it out until a new update comes out.

Is this correct? My phone does have the iOS 11.1 Public Beta 2 downloaded. Should I install this? Will this prevent me from getting the non-beta update when it is released?

Any help at all is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You can go back to 11.0.3 but not without losing your data. I believe iCloud prevents you from restoring backups to an older version but I'm not completely sure.

Installing the new beta won't affect your ability to go to the public release.

Thanks for the response. So if I just wait it out until the next public release I will be able to install that instead of the beta?
