iOS 11 Move iMessages over to new phone

I thought iMessages are in the iCloud? I wanted to setup my iPhone X as new and I signed into my iCloud account, but I don't see my iMessages on my iPhone X from my iPhone 7 Plus. Any ideas?

iMessages in the cloud has not been released. During the summer Apple said it would come in a future update to iOS 11.

Uggg so I have to do a icloud restore and move all the other junk over too...yuck

There is some programs that could do that from backup.. but i have not tryed it.. IF you do please tell us others...
Mobiletrans is one of them, but if you google you could fine some others also

I use MCBackupPro. Sends your contacts backup to email and or Dropbox also. Very good

Does it move your imessage from one iphone to the other iphone though?
