iOS 11 - New apps now installing on all iOS devices

Anyone know if there's a way to stop this? I have an iPhone and two iPads, and have different apps on them. Now when I install apps onto my iPhone, I'm seeing them hit my iPads, and I have to delete them (space reasons).

Is there a setting I'm missing or is this part of the de-appification of iTunes? It's a little annoying - I don't remember this in iOS 10.

This has been a "feature" since iCloud introduction. I disabled it on day 1.

iOS 11 instant screenshot markup is amazing, but ketchup fingers tracing would be a nice upgrade.
