Well we will wait for some devs who will install beta today and say if there is notifications grouping by app or not.

But if there is not grouping I think that I'll need to leave iOS... It was nice one year but elementary stuff needs to have on mobile operating system.

Seriously no improvement for the cluster fluff of a mess of notifications? I don't think I can handle it for another year
Nothing in particular that was shown in the keynote (beyond the lock screen notifications being accessible when unlocked), but it's possible some changes/refinements might be there in relation to notifications. We'll have to see as the betas come out and people discover things.

I really wanted notifications to go back to being a smaller size, or at least to have the additional option to select this.

Several times a day, I'll be taken out of an app by accidentally hitting a notification when I'm trying to access an in app control at the top of the iPhone screen.

It doesn't make for a good experience.

There is now a limit to two notifications before you have to swipe and see the rest.
So only the most recent two are displayed and then you have to swipe for more, or unlock the phone to see more? What happens to the rest of the screen space that isn't taken up by two notifications?

It's replaced with a swipe prompt to see the remaining notifications

At least one minor improvement: developers can now control whether notification previews can be accessed depending on whether the phone is unlocked or not. Currently, developers can either show previews always or not show them at all. This new setting is something I was looking forward to.
