iOS 11 PiP mode on iPad Mini 2

On this last iOS 11 update, Apple removed PiP for iPad Mini 2. This is one of the features I used most. Do we have any settings or apps to turn it back? Example, I downloaded OPlayerHD, a great player that recognize iTunes library and has PiP option but PiP window closes everytime player goes to next video.

Isn't the Mini too small for PIP? I thought it was rather small on my 10.5, never mind the diminutive mini

You’re mistaken. I have the mini 2. PIP is still available and has not been removed.

Maybe I was having a problem, now I've tested Apple's Music App again and PiP worked. But the second problem persists. When the Player goes to next video, the Pip window closes. Does it happen with you too?
