iOS 11 problem, or hardware issue with iPod 6?...

Got an iPod 6, 32gb for $140 (new) but since I turned it on it’s been glitchy and would freeze or shut off randomly. I did 2 clean resets and it’s now better, but still occasionally restarts by itself and then dings when it comes back on (I have it plugged in.)

Should I exchange it or is this just iOS 11 being the normal D-bag it is?

Yeah exchange it. With iOS 11 it will be slow and laggy but should not shut off.
