These speed tests are kind of hard to compare because they just pick certain apps, but it does show RAM management in iOS seems worse than iOS 10, at least for these apps.


The same apps always stayed open in iOS 10. The iPhone X was faster throughout the entire test, even besting the Note 8 on the first lap, but failed to keep a couple heavier gaming apps open and even Photoshop.

Is iOS11 really that bad, or does it just need another few updates? It honestly feels like the iPhone 7 on iOS 10 is faster than the new phones, in the real world.
