I have searched for this online and can't find a solution outside of jailbreaking my phone and I don't really want to do that.

My question is how can I change the amount of time before my screen dims when I am not touching it? An example will be when I am on a call that's on speaker phone and I have another app pulled up, it will dim the screen after a short amount of time.

The only replies I get online are about the screen auto locking and auto brightness. I don't want to turn that off because I like that feature but don't need the screen to dim so fast.

Any help will be appreciated.

As I recall the auto dimming is at least somewhat (if not mostly) tied to auto locking, so increasing the auto lock time would increase the auto dim time.

That's what I was afraid of. Oh well. Thanks for the reply!

I had this today while using Feedly. It wasn't consistent either. Sometimes it would dim after around 15 seconds. Sometimes not. But the time seems consistent. Just not if it does it or not.
