Has anyone checked the saved video of a screen recording session on a 2107 iPad Pro? I'm curious what the frame rate is. I ask because videos recorded on the mini 4 are showing as 15fps and I'm curious if the new Pros are the same or reach 30fps.

Almost certain 30fps -is there anyway I could check from an existing screenshot recording as it doesn’t mention frame rate via photos

I checked the video properties in the LumaFusion app but not sure of any other apps to check on the iPad itself. I have both new Pros but running 10.3.3 so not had a chance to try screen record on them.

According to the properties on Windows 10 a screen recording on the iPad Pro 10.5 is 38 FPS.

Screen record for recording gaming has not worked properly for me since beta 4...today I did a fresh install with GM and I still have the same issues...im on 12.9 2017 pro.

issue: only captures 1-2 frames for entire duration of the recording

Thanks for that although that seems like a weird choice unless it is simply capturing as high a frame rate as the hardware will allow.

I've only run the beta on the mini 4 and it has always worked fine apart from the early betas when games were recorded in the wrong orientation. I'll try it on my 2017 Pro 12.9 when iOS 11 drops next Tuesday.

Yeah, that may be it. Could be something with promotion as well.
