iOS 11 Screen Recording Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m having a screen recording issue that haven’t been able to find a solution for. I do a screen recording to capture audio from an application. For example: a small part of a track on Apple Music. The screen recording starts & the music continues to play but no audio is captured. Even though it shows the music playing.

He’s got a different issue. Tried the one there and none worked.

Have you switched on audio recording? I think it's disabled by default.

It looks like screen recording disables audio for certain content like online videos and even your own music in the Music app. They are most likely doing this for copyright reasons, but just don't differentiate between one content and unowned content very well. For instance, screen recording with audio works with videos in your camera roll, but trying to record a clip of a a song you own in Music, does not.

My phone does the same thing. Don't know why, it might be something to avoid copyright or something or it could just be a bug.
