So I've seen discussion of this elsewhere, but only as it relates to the iPhone X. I still have an 6S. I used to get 1-2 bars at work - not great, but enough for calls/texts to come in - to "no service" all day every day. Same desk, same office, same phone. AT&T isn't great where I live but like... come on!! I was thinking of a phone upgrade, but it sounds like the X has this issue too? I wonder if it's just the X or something with iOS 11, though? Am I the only person who's experienced this? I can't find anything online from folks who only updated OS, not phone.

My husband and I haven't seen 3 or 4 bars on our phones a while... no matter where we are. I have a 7plus, and he has a 6S plus. My son's 6S plus seems to be in 4G a lot :( I don't know what's going on, nor how long it's been happening, but we are just noticing the past month or so. Possibly since the last couple of updates.

I recently moved houses and also noticed that my signal is very low and on the top of that the battery is draining like crazy, because the device is constantly looking for signal.

My solution was Settings->Mobile Data->Mobile Data Options->Voice-> Change to 2G. You will almost always have full bars and your battery wont drain. The only issue is that if you use frequently 4G you will have go to the above mentioned settings and switch from 2G to 4G. Other than that it's the best solution if you experience low signal and battery drainage.
