I have installed iOS 11 and I still have the old Siri voice. I have tuned Siri off, turned the phone off and used the male voice (which has the updated voice) but when I switch back to female it stuck on the iOS 10 voice. Any fixes for this?

Same issue here. I can only hear the updated voices briefly when switching Siri’s gender. Regardless of what I choose, it reverts back to American English, Female, iOS 10 version. Cannot get the new voice.

Tried disabling and reenabling and resetting phone. Still old voice.

I’m having the same exact problem on my 7 Plus. It's using Siri's old voice. Like John if I switch to Male it uses the new voice and if ”I’m Siri” with the new voice, but it doesn’t actually use it.

My iPad Air 2 got the new voice.

Same on my iPhone 6!

Plug it into power for a while when connected to WiFi. The phone will download the new voice in the background.

Mine kept the old voice after updating while at work, but when I came home and plugged it in, the new voice downloaded in a short time. It sounds way different (and better) now.

The new Siri standby animation is mesmerizingly hypnotizing in a good way.

This seems to have worked. My iPhone 7 Plus now has the new voice after leaving it plugged in a few minutes.
