Good morning.

Now I know it’s now a 3 yr old phone , but my battery now seems to deflate in front of my eyes.

10.3.3 was fine , no better no worse than when I got it New. I skipped the iPhone 7+ & skipping the 8 , & holding out to (eventually) get an X

Now since putting iOS 11 on it , the battery seems awful. To drain 10-15 % in a matter of minutes after watching a video or general browsing is not uncommon.

Now help me nurse this battery back to what could e considered half health even. What tips guys ? Does a Network settings reset help ? Should I iCloud back up & then set up as new & restore help ?

I know certain apps don’t help & drain the battery quicker , but I’m basing the battery life now with the battery life & app settings as they’ve always been.

Cheers guys

Run it down to 1% until it shuts down. Recharge to 100% before using it. Recalibrating battery is a must after every update.

Doing the same on mine too 6splus I’ve wiped it set it up as new using the iPsw it’s shocking

I have an iPhone 6 ... IOS 11 seemed to slow it a little and I think I also notice a faster battery drain as well. I have read somewhere that as you use IOS 11, it will get faster (?) as the phone re-indexes ... has anyone else heard this?

I think it’s a software issue. Will probably get fixed in ios11.1. Hopefully. Mine is also awful after updating on iPhone 7.

I have the same problem. I've been seeing my phone deplete from 100% to less than 20% several times a day (which requires me to charge the phone 2-3 times a day and have a powerbank ready at all times). As the phone is critical for my day to day work, I've decided to downgrade to ios10 until Apple fix the issue.

I’m getting good battery life out of my 6S+. I’ve disabled some of the Siri searches and app refresh. Other than that, I can’t complain. However when I installed iOS 11, I did a clean install through iTunes on my iPhone and iPad, and both get excellent battery life.

Pretty useless picture without including the very top apps, and the screen on times...

Both my iPad Pro and my 6s batteries are draining terribly.

I can actually watch my iPhone battery percentage tick down. In fact, while typing this post, I can see my iPhone has dropped another 2%.

My iPad Pro (12") can't even make it through a day anymore. Its nuts. I had a 2 hour flight and ran it through 85% of its battery (and I didn't even use it the entire time). This used to last several days.

I have an iPhone 5S. Massive battery drain issues since updating to iOS 11 last week. I have tried recalibrating the battery, there was no improvement on the battery drain issue.

This is a feature that is not very wise or thought out for the masses by Apple. Control Center was designed to make things quicker and easier to control. I, like many other folks would like to just use Control Center instead of navigating deeper into the settings menu like back in the old days of IOS. My battery is getting drained by half day now because I keep forgetting that that the Control Center Bluetooth and Wifi widgets do not turn off the radios. I believe most people that have gotten accustomed to using Control Center(which is what Apple as wanted user to do) for quick access to these the things they most often use are now taking a step back in time for the two most heavily used apps within Control Center. Someone PLEASE tell Apple to return these two functions back to the Control Center.
