Hi everyone,

I'am frustrated with my iPhone XS Max since with ios 12.1.1 update. I'm out of solutions so I'm writing down if I've been missing something.

Since with the iOS 12.1.1 My phone is not receiving push notifications from any kind of App. Gmail, WhatsApp, Twitter, any App. Even for FaceTime and iMessage, I'm not able to call, receive messages and any other activity. Safari and all other apps working if you are interacted within an app so it is not solely cellular data problem.

1- I've talked with my service provider, (Turkcell) and they have claimed that there is no issue with their service.

2-I've changed my SIM card, reset network settings and reset cellular profile. Nothing has changed.

3-Later on, I've erased all content from phone, setting up device as a new one.

4-Voila! Everything started to work pretty well for 5 days, unlikely, my phone was out of battery, and when I re-start it today, problem seems to back again.

So what should I do? Is there any one who is having same issues with iOS 12.1.1? Should I download beta profile of iOS 12.1.2? Could this be a problematic for my iCloud data and Apple Watch?

I hate that my so-called smartphone is out of push notifications, Face-time and iMessage...

If you hurry you can still get back to 12.1. There is usually a week available once the new version is released.

You can try to restore again, and hope. And keep it charged.

You can try the beta, but I am not sure if it will change much. iCloud will be fine, the watch should be fine.

Not sure, but since IOS 12 came out I had problems in Croatia with A1 telecom. Calls did work but data randomly stopped working and only reboot helped. On wifi it worked ok. After numerous contacts with provider it turned out that they had problems and gave me other APN settings wich now work. In the meantime carrier was updated frim version 33 to 34 and 35, and now in latest beta is downgraded to 34.5.

I’ve got the same problems in an iPad Pro 11” with iOS 12.1.1. Everything was fine before this update. Now I sporadically loose cellular data or wifi data.

I was experiencing the same with 12.1.1 and my XS. I went to 12.1.2 Beta 1 ... notifications are back. You can move to the public beta, or just wait till the next release. Hopefully next week???

There was an article in local news that iOS 12.1.1 messed up LTE connection, so this can be related. Try disabling cellular data and use only Wi-Fi, will you get any issues?

And yes, it's a good idea to get iOS 12.1.2 beta I guess...

İ think there was a misunderstanding. Actually my LTE connection speed is pretty fast and reliable while browsing on safari or applications or multiplayer games. What is missing is that push notifications. I should open certain apps to retrieve notifications. Such as gmail, whatsapp or Twitter. Notifications are not received unless app is working. Also I am unable make iMessage, FaceTime on cellular data. On wifi, everything is turning back to normal.
