Can’t see any other thread opened about such an issue so wondering if it’s only me.

After I updated my iPhone XS Max to 12.1.2 a few weeks ago, it’s too often now that my network connectivity when on mobile network (Bulgaria, A1) simply won’t work. I need to restart the iPhone for it to start working again. I tried resetting my network settings with no success. It’s really annoying since most of the time I go out of WiFi coverage (outside home or office) my iPhone would not receive emails and important iMessages from my wife and I just can’t trust the iPhone anymore :(

Is anyone having similar problems?

Yup. My XSM does the same. My 6s is much more reliable, albeit slightly slower.

The combination of poor RF performance and crappy intel baseband significantly handicaps these new devices.

That said recent baseband firmware upgrades (as part of iOS updates) have significantly improved the performance/reliability of my device on AT&T in the USA.!

Happened to me right after the update. After I rebooted the phone I haven't had the problem again.

The same also occured when I updated to 12.1.3.
