iOS 12.2 Beta 3 Release Notes

New Features & Changes
  • New Settings layout in General>About with an added field for Model Name
  • New Apple TV Remote layout in Control Center
  • In the Apple News app, “Apple News” in the heading now displayed as “ News”
  • In the Music app, music videos no longer automatically plays in fullscreen
  • In Settings>Apple Store>Siri & Search, "Find Interests in Other App" toggle to have Siri suggest Today at Apple sessions based on Safari and app usage
  • In the Wallet app, there are added buttons such as "Add Money"and "Transfer to Bank" for Apple Pay Cash and "Call"and "Website" for other payment cards in detail

  • You might be unable to authenticate within Wallet after selecting a card
Resolved Issues
  • The device charge level no longer remains on the lock screen after removing the device from a charger
  • Restored Group FaceTime
  • Fixed "Volume" HUD display instead of the "Ringer" HUD when increasing or decreasing volume on the Home Screen with "Changed with Buttons" enabled in Sounds settings
  • Timer countdown is back on lock screen
  • Text size slider in settings now responds as expected instead of having to lift and retouch finger for each notch you want to move it to
  • Apple TV remote widget fills the screen correctly now that it has been completely redesigned
