Since updating when playing music via Bluetooth in my car it freezes after about two minutes and can’t start it again until disconnecting and reconnecting to the car.

Anyone have the same issue?

Car Bluetooth connectivity is a bit of a lottery, in my experience. After updating to iOS 12.2 I started having it patchy in one car, but it was still playing fine in another car. No negative changes in the “good car” after updating to iOS 12.3 yesterday either. Go figure. There are so many Bluetooth implementation variants in different cars, depending on the car make, model, release date and the latest firmware update. You can try testing it with another iPhone running iOS 12.3 and if that fails too maybe try taking it to your car’s service place to see if they can update its internal Bluetooth firmware?

I actually had the same issue on my iPhone X with 12.3 the other day when I was giving Siri a command over my car's bluetooth and the entire phone locked up. I couldn't restart it or anything for a couple minutes, and finally got it to restart after plugging it into my car via USB.

Never had issues like this before in my car or at all really, pretty scary actually, thought my phone was bricked.

I am not sure my issue is the same thing.

When playing Pandora, I will notice that both of the screens in my car (it's one of those Honda/Acura two screen systems) will show "Loading...." ever once in a while.

The music never stops and I just assumed it was a problem with caching ahead that might be caused when switching from one T-Mobile array to another, especially if the new array is not LTE-A and busy.

My 2013 Honda Accord will do that sometimes as well. I think it’s a Hondalink software issue, not Apple in this case. Turning the car off and back on usually will fix the issue when it happens for me.

Same issue here using an iPhone XS with an older Ford Fusion with SYNC gen 1. The radio froze twice in the past few days. Never had a similar issue in over 8 years previous so I strongly suspect it's with iOS 12.3. Had to reboot the SYNC software to fix the first time but the phone reconnected after a few minutes on the second time.

I have an older car and play music through bluetooth, and it has been acting weird lately. It didn't occur to me until finding this thread that it may be because I updated my iOS. The music would cut in and out incessantly until I gave up and turned it off. I did unplug my bluetooth unit and selected "forget this device" on my phone, and then re-paired it, and so far (knock on wood), the issues have stopped.
