You'll probably need to remove the beta profile and reboot in order to see the public release version.
I’m on PB Beta 6 and it’s so good that I deleted the profile. Lol. Then I won’t be prompted for an update and can read up on how it is first.
This is correct.

I don't see why this is good. You can see the notification about the update, and wait 1 day to read the opinions here. In this way you don't need to install/uninstall the beta profile several times
You'll probably need to remove the beta profile and reboot in order to see the public release version. Typically, the last beta is the same as the public release anyway otherwise they will, in effect, be releasing untested software.
However, do bear in mind that as soon as you do that someone will post on here that iOS 12.1 beta is out and you'll think "oooo, I want that!" and put the beta profile on again![]()
I'm on the PB right now, but am in severe need of performing a full reset and refresh of my iP6 due to severe lack of storage space (400mb remaining). You'll probably need to remove the beta profile and reboot in order to see the public release version. Thanks Adrian. For me, every once in a while I like to carry out a full refresh on my devices. A bit of OCD, maybeA full reset which will put you back on iOS11, then reinstall the beta profile and then it should offer you the iOS12 beta.
It would be easier to delete stuff that's filling up your phone, maybe by checking the storage to see if any apps (or your 10 years worth of iMessages etc) are filling your phone up. You can also toggle the settings (whose name I forget) which offloads apps that haven't been used in a while.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe being on the beta can take its toll on phone storage by filling it with diagnostics and logs. I think doing a sync to iTunes clears those out.
Apologies mate. I reread my post and totally understand why you're confused.I don't understand the question. Do you mean ... can you upgrade to the official iOS12 from iOS11? Yes, sure. Did you mean can you install the beta profile after iOS12 comes out? Well yes, but it'll be for the public 12.1 (or whatever) beta. Hmm - can you ask the question again?
Oh, and jailbreak for iOS12? You're gonna be on 11 for ages if you're waiting for that I reckon.
Running with less than 1-2GB will slow phone down. The install of 12.0 b8 was 1.5GB and would need more than even that.I'm on the PB right now, but am in severe need of performing a full reset and refresh of my iP6 due to severe lack of storage space (400mb remaining).
Can i do a full reset and refresh and still keep my beta tester status? Ideally I'd like to do this refresh once 12 is officially released.

Phew! Thought it was a case of trying to get my brain in gear too early on a Sunday.Apologies mate. I reread my post and totally understand why you're confused.
If ios 12 JB is compatible with Consolidation, Activator and task bar icons, the definitely JB for me.It'll become a personal mental struggle. Do you want the jailbreak or do you want the excitement of being part of the beta program? I used to be the former and am now the latter![]()
Also, there is a chance that jailbreak happens so late that by the time iOS 12 has jailbreak, people would have only a few days to upgrade to iOS 12 as iOS 13 is out. Just saying. Thanks Adrian. You put it well. If/when they release a jailbreak, if I then uodate the firmware I'd no doubt lose the jb. Why have I not been thinking straight of late!!!

No. IIRC you need to keep the beta profile to get the GM Wednesday/Thursday depending on if they day stagger PB from DB.Do I have to unsubscribe from the public beta program to get iOS 12 once it is released or is the update automatic? Silly question perhaps but I don’t know. First time I did enroll. Thanks.
