When compared to the wallpapers on Apple's website it looks exactly the same - so maybe it's the original.

without icons on top of it, yes. but with icons over it, it's a nice burst of color and textures.

After years of beta testing, I can tell you that this one's not a storm. May be a light rain. It is that good.

Yeah, maybe for backgrounds, but where I first saw it was on lock screens.
