Hello to everyone.
I have iPhone X iOS 12.1 with 3 keyboard languages (Russian,Hebrew,English) + emoji keyboard. After iOS 12 update I noticed when I switch to emoji, my keyboard automatically back to first language. As you can see on the video , sometimes it’s fine and sometimes when I click on emoji , it’s bring me back to English. Before emoji there is Russian keyboard and after emoji Hebrew keyboard. I did full restore as a new Iphone and it didn't help. My question is..can it be iOS 12 bug or hardware issue? I contacted apple support and they can’t help me because I’m from Israel and they not support this area yet. Sorry for my English and thx for help.

Did you already send this problem with the emoji keyboard to Apple Support? Personally, my emoji keyboard works perfect. But I have an iPhone 8 and I also have no different languages on it. I hope for you, that the problem will be solved with the next update. ;)

I did and they never seen bug like this. They told me to bring my Iphone to Apple Authorized Distributor.
I reported this "bug" on bug report website (https://bugreport.apple.com) and still no respond from them
I'm just not sure if its IOS bug or hardware issue. My phone warranty is over and they probably gonna take money for diagnostics test:(

[doublepost=1543756221][/doublepost]Hi! I got same bug on my iPhone 8 PLUS with iOS 12. Did you found how to fix it??

I also encounter this bug sometimes on my iPhone X running iOS 12.1 (I also have 2 keyboards/languages installed next to the emoji keyboard).

Hi!
I've got the same problem.
iOS 12.1.2. 3 Keyboards (Russian, German, English) + Emoji.
Gboard is installed too, but it switched off.
Write me please, if someone found a decision.

I thought this is normal?? I have 8 plus. I have 4 Keyboards, Emoji, Giphy, English, Korean. I am most of the time using English, when I click on the Globe icon it opens the Emoji keyboard, if I click it again it will change to another Language. However if I click on an emoji, when I click on Globe icon, it will revert the keyboard to the previous keyboard which is English, and not the next language. I assume this is normal because there is no other way to change keyboard aside from clicking the Globe icon. When you open the emoji keyboard, and click on an emoji, the keyboard assumes that you just want to insert an emoji. But if you open the emoji keyboard, and did not insert any emoji, when you click the Globe icon it will open another language because the keyboard assumes you want to change language and not just insert emoji.

Yes, this behavior makes sense. However the problem that some people including me have is that it sometimes automatically reverts to another keyboard when you have the emoji keyboard opened (see the video in the first post).

Many greets
Chris

Hello!
I have the same problem on iPhone 7.
I bought it in November and immediately installed iOS 12 and everything was fine. Always installed the latest updates ios. A few days ago there was the same bug as in the video. I deleted all the content on the phone and restored it from the backup. Cleared the dictionary in the same menu. It did not help.
Has anyone solved this problem?
