iPhone X iOS 12 finally made my iPhone X a great experience!

Ever since i got my iPhone X last year I’ve been complaining about Face ID to the point where I regret buying it, but iOS 12 has finally made Face ID perfect! Even when I lay down in bed it still recognizes me. It’s such an amazing feeling having it unlock 95% of the time. It was the crucial piece in never wanting to go back to Touch ID. Its mind blowing how such a little change can effect my entire experience of the phone.

Who else is falling in love with their X device after the Face ID update in iOS 12?

I’ve always loved my X but 12 makes it better. Never had any issues using Face ID in bed

Never had any issues with FaceID. But I am loving iOS 12.

I am with you. While I have always loved the form factor of the X, it has been the buggiest iphone I have ever owned. Frustrating enough at times for me to rethink the iphone platfrom as a whole. iOS 12 seems to have fixed all my previous issues.

I haven’t really noticed any difference yet, aside from grouped notifications. Everything else still feels the same.

Face ID has been amazing for me almost since day 1. I was marveling at how spoiled I am with it, since it’s learned my face so well that I almost never need to adjust, even when in bed. I wonder why it was so bad for you, but I’m glad iOS 12 helped!

I like 12, but it’s more like an incremental change than a big wow.

iOS 12 has made it a lot smoother than before but even before it was great. still love this phone.
