iPhone iOS 12 notification tones wont change after restart

Anyone else had this? Restarted my phone and no matter what I do, my text tone plays Note (default) regardless of what I change it to. Ive tried everything I can think of, even went into the iTunes store and re-downloaded my ringtone I bought, nothing works, Extremely annoying.

No, no issues.

iOS 11, had weird tone issues, but used iTunes to re-sync tones by drag/drop from filesystem to Tones under device entry in iTunes.

Worst case, setup the phone as new.

I’m having this issue again. It keeps happening to me and it’s really annoying. Before I had to Reset all Settings and it worked for a few weeks. Today, they stopped playing again. Only pre-installed ones work now.

I would reset all settings again, but it messes up my apps. They don’t ask for permissions again and the location doesn’t work unless I delete and reinstall the app

So just kind of stuck with useless ringtones/text tones I’ve paid for.
