The difference between those being what exactly?IOS 12 have they added a slider for rebooting the phone (warm boot) instead of shutdown and restart?
Thanks.
Jim
Not exactly sure what you are referring to. There's an option for shut down in settings in iOS 11, for example.IN previous IOS there was a slider to reboot line a computer (warrm boot) menu as opposed to shut dowen and reboot.
Are you talking about the slider that is there if you press and hold the lock/sleep button?Well Ios 5,6,7,8,9,& 10 had sliders to rebbot & shutdown! they nixed it when they added emergency SOS slider.
There has never been a restart command/slider/whatever in iOS. If there's one in iOS 12 in addition to an option to shut down iOS, it's a new feature.IN previous IOS there was a slider to reboot line a computer (warrm boot) menu as opposed to shut dowen and reboot.
So what difference are we talking about when you mentioned a reboot vs. shutting down and restarting?OK. No I get it.
