iPhone iOS 13.1 dev beta iMessages Crashing

I installed 13.1 on my 6S plus and anytime I click on a message thread with multiple recipients or send a message with multiple recipients iMessages immediately crashes back to iOS home screen.

I have restarted and happens every time. Anyone else having iMessages crashes? Anything I can do to resolve it? Can I roll back to 12.4 or 13.0? I use group texts dozens of times a day to send messages to various family, friends, parents of kids friends groups

Yep, it’s mentioned in the relevant beta thread. Not happening on my XR.

Can't reproduce this on XS Max or 10.5 IPad either. Tried threads with multiple iMessage recipients and group SMS threads. I'd bet there's a pattern there somewhere but not sure what it is.

Working fine for my 7 plus.

And to answer your question, yes, you can roll back to 12.4 but you'd lose all your data unless you created a backup of your device before installing 13.0.

I have, many times, restart, reboot and reset, etc. Click on a group thread in iMessage, instantly booted to home screen every time.

Working fine on XR and iPP 11. Once I get the 6s updated I’ll try on it.

tried this hopefully, alas to no avail. For a second I thought I am getting trolled as I tried to press my phone lighter and lighter until practically hovering

I DFU restored to 12.4.1 then reinstalled 13.1 and still couldn’t do group messages without crashing. Every time.

I’m now dfu restored back to 12.4.1 until regular 13.0 comes out in a week. iMessages works perfectly of course.
