So I just deleted the beta profile from my iPhone, and I went to Software Update but my phone is not seeing a update to iOS13 yet. But I read on 9 to 5 Mac one of the two ways you could revert to iOS13 from 13.1 instead of doing it through iTunes is to delete the beta profile and the phone will see the latest official update and I can download iOS13 that way. So maybe not everyone can see the new update yet? My phone keeps saying 13.1 is the most up to date iOS.

I read we need to go back to iOS13 before setting up our new phones tomorrow for the restore to work.

Just so you know ....

Shoot, now I need to reinstall the beta app again. lol

Have you restarted the phone and then checked?

Yeah, nothing shows, but I know sometimes the new iOS updates rolls out in stages and not to everyone all at once. I may wait till tonight to see if I get access to it.

If you're on 13.1 beta then the iOS 13.0 update will never show. You'll either need to use iTunes on your computer to manually restore to 13.0, or wait for the 13.1 public release on the 24th to update to that.

Gotcha, so tomorrow set up my new iphone but before doing a restore, install the beta profile on the new phone then upgrade to 13.1, then do a restore as new device and then restore from backup?

That’s what I am planning to do. Can’t remember last time I did this but hope to be able to get the beta profile on the new iPhone quickly without doing a full restore then erase and full restore from a 13.1 backup
