It was a horrible decision for iOS 13 to combine multiple sensors into single tile in Homekit but iOS 13.2 finally allows the tiles to be separated.

You'll find this by going into your device settings within Homekit.

Thank you, thank you for this post! I don’t know if I would have discovered this
change on my own. I have several iDevices outlets and the night light portion never gets turned off. Having the switch control and night lite control within one tile required a tap of the tile to access the outlet switch then another touch to slide the switch on/off. Two operations compared to one in iOS 12. I was seriously considering replacing my outlets with another model because of this.

I never understood why they force combined all these types of devices with the release of iOS 13.

Same goes for the Aqara temperature and humidity sensor, with iOS 12 it was two separate tiles with readings directly on the tile, and with iOS 13 they got combined and I had to tap the tile to view the data.

Now with iOS 13.2 it is possible to separate the readings into two tiles again, rendering the readings directly on the tiles so you do not have to open the tiles each time.

Thanks for pointing that out. I agree, that was a bad step backwards. It's nice that there's SOMETHING about 13.2 that is positive. ;)

Even though I can separate out tiles for multiple sensor devices on my iPhone, the tiles are combined on my Apple Watch, even after updating to watchOS 6.1 today. Can’t figure out if/how to separate them out on the watch.

I have no plans to move to non-Apple devices any time soon but their products and software have been pretty frustrating lately.
