I don’t know what’s in Apples cheerios lately, but they’ve been listening. Christmas came early with iOS 13.3.
You are now allowed to once again save an edited video as a New Clip in the photos app. This feature was removed for iOS 13 to which you had to do this weird workaround by placing it the Files app to do a similar process, but it was still clunky.
Placing things in iMovie was just too time consuming compared to the instant edit of the Save Video process.
Anyway. Just letting ya all know this useful feature has returned

I noticed that was gone. Glad it’s back although, I rarely used it.
I record a lot of music acts for three hours in one continuous shot. The ability to break up the acts as separate video files is such a convenience. Previously, one had to either do it imovie (rendering always took forever) or in iOS 13 it wouldnt save as individual files... just a non destructive one shot. Unless you placed it in Files, but then it would be this weird copy copy copy thing. Blech. Sounds like they’re listening.
