iOS 13 and iTunes issue

Hello,

i installed iOS 13 on my iPhone 7
through the OTA, and when I try to connect my iPhone with iTunes (el capitan) it doesn’t show up.
I have restarted my iPhone and Mac.

i am running El Capitan 10.11.6
And iTunes 12.8.2.3

if I open photos my iPhone shows up.

any ideas what it could be?

Could be a compatibility issue between IOS and MacOS.

it seems to work now, I restinalled iTunes and then I connected my iPhone and it worked.
